During the recent PlayStation Showcase event Sony announced two new hardware products i.e. the new PS5 Earbuds and a completely new device called “Project Q”.

Let’s first talk about Project Q which is a hand-held eight-inch HD screen with all of the buttons of the DualSense PS5 controller.

Using Project Q you can enjoy your entire PS5 library without sitting right next to your TV or Monitor. To play games on Project Q you can either use remote play or connect it to the PS5’s local Wi-Fi network.

Project Q now joins the rank of the two legendary handheld consoles by Sony namely the PSP and PS Vita.

Clearly, Project Q is not a standalone device, rather it acts as an extension to the PS5 console. As far as limitations are concerned Project Q won’t play any PS VR2 games.

Next up Sony also unveiled its new PS5 Earbuds which can be effortlessly paired with a PS5 console, PC, and smartphone.

With these new earbuds, Sony is promising to deliver “lossless audio with low latency”.

It’s worth noting that all of the aforementioned information was revealed during the announcement of these devices.

However, not much information is available about the actual devices.
